Hednesford is a fullquarter mile length oval, with two banked corners, and a tarmac track surface surrounded by an armco safety fence.It is steeped in motor racing history and packed with all the ingredients for a great family day out, with excellent catering and bar facilities and grandstands for over 3000 spectators.
The circuit was built in 1952 utilizing the site of a former reservoir. With the circuit built at the base of the reservoir, the circuit has the advantage of being at the bottom of a large "bowl", with grass banks surrounding the circuit providing excellent views for spectators. Racing here is promoted by Spedeworth’s sister company, Incarace.
The venue issituated on Cannock Chase, approximately 1 mile from the town of Hednesford in Staffordshire.
